Whether you’re training for a local sprint or planning a full-distance event, we can help. Our coaching services are suited for athletes of all abilities and ages, from beginners to experienced competitors.

At Tri Revolution, we provide coaching for athletes across Bedfordshire and nearby areas like Bedford, Luton, Biggleswade, and Dunstable. All our coaching is delivered online by our dedicated coaching team, but it’s personal and specific. You’ll work directly with an experienced coach who builds your plan from the ground up. Our coaching team offers a range of services tailored to individual clients, ensuring support for all abilities and goals.

Every athlete we coach gets a training plan built around their life, fitness, and goals. Your coach doesn’t hand you a template. Instead, we look at where you are now, where you want to be, and what kind of time you have to train.

At Tri Revolution, we use TrainingPeaks to deliver your sessions and review your data, but real coaching goes beyond numbers. Regular analysis of your performance helps keep your training focused and highlights the benefits of a disciplined approach. It’s in the regular feedback, in adapting when life changes, and in helping you keep momentum even when motivation dips.

Making the Most of Your Local Area

Bedfordshire offers some solid options for triathlon training. From loops out past Cardington to open water swims at Box End Park, open water swimming is available from April through summer, making these sessions both fun and a great way to get involved. Run sessions in Priory Country Park are also available. If you’re riding on rural roads near Sandy or running through Dunstable Downs, we’ll factor those into your plan, with cycling and cycle training forming an important part of the program.

Every location comes with its own quirks – traffic, terrain, weather – and we help you make the most of what’s nearby. You’ll also have the opportunity to join local races and racing events, with some venues offering food and refreshments for athletes.

Coaching for All Levels

You don’t have to be fast or experienced to benefit from a coach. Most of the athletes we work with are somewhere in the middle: not beginners, not pros, but serious about training well. Our supportive coaching approach helps build confidence in athletes of all age groups and abilities, ensuring everyone feels encouraged and empowered to reach their goals.

    I have been working with Jason for the last 3 years now and from a newbie in triathlon I have managed to achieve so much - I qualified for the Ironman world championships in Kona after completing my first Ironman in Tenby , Wales .     Literally the best thing I've done for my fitness both physically and mentally. The knowledge and evaluation of workouts are next to none.     Following your enquiry, Head Coach Jason Newbery will personally be in touch to arrange a consultation. This focused conversation is where we work to understand your athletic history, ambitions, and current life demands. Together, we’ll explore how a structured coaching partnership could transform your potential into progress, and ensure your goals align with our proven methodology. Jason will then recommend the optimal Tri Revolution coach and package for your journey.

    Step 2

    Placing the Foundations

    Your dedicated coach will conduct an in-depth onboarding consultation. This involves a detailed analysis of your past training data, combined with current fitness assessments, to accurately identify your unique strengths and development opportunities. Together, we’ll design the framework of your optimal training week, carefully integrating it with your life’s commitments. This collaborative assessment establishes the essential foundation for your entire plan and marks the beginning of your ongoing coaching partnership.

    Step 3

    And so it begins…

    This is where your training takes shape. Your coach crafts your initial training schedule within TrainingPeaks, setting your structured sessions. You execute and upload your data; your coach then provides expert analysis and actionable feedback. This creates a continuous feedback loop, where your training is intelligently adapted, session by session, week by week, based on your performance, feedback, and life demands.     A Triathlon coach is a person who helps an athlete improve their performance across the swim, bike and run legs. This can be purely for fun and fitness, right through to coaching professional’s.

    A phrase first coined by Sir Dave Brailsford, the 1% rule is used as an explanation of the ‘marginal gains’ principle. It states that if you improve every area of your cycling by 1%, those small gains will add up to a substantial improvement overall. At Tri Revolution, we can help you improve not only your training, but also; nutrition, strength training, tactics, equipment, bike fit and clothing choices to name a few

    Indoor training is an important tool. The majority of our clients train indoors either by choice or due to time or weather conditions for at least some of their sessions. Coach set sessions can be easily adapted to suit indoor or outdoor training.

    A Triathlon coach can make a huge difference to your performance. All of the top athletes are coached, but unlike in years gone by, many lower level competitors now have a coach for the simple reason that having a coach vastly helps you improve your performance for the hours you train.

    Cycling is a fantastic way to increase your fitness and can be effective either indoors or outdoors. Having a coach will enable you to make the most effective use of your time, enabling you to increase your fitness and ride faster.

    A Tri Revolution coach will help you to make the most effective use of the time you have available to train, implementing a progressive training plan to help you improve your FTP, endurance, Vo2 max and peak power, no matter how much or little time you have available to train.

    Yes. The majority of our clients have limited time in one way or another. Busy modern life styles, with work and family can make it quite tricky to training in. Our coaches are accustomed to building training plans around each riders time constraints. This is one of the benefits of having a coach who is creating unique sessions for you.
