Come along to one of our Zwift Meet-Ups and enjoy the community vibe that comes with training together—no matter where you are or what session you’re doing. Here’s how it works:
1) Join the Tri Revolution Zwift Club
Search for “Tri Revolution” in the Zwift Companion App.

2) Find the Next Meet-Up
Check this page for scheduled Meet-Ups, or keep an eye on the club chat in the Zwift Companion App. We update the schedule weekly.

The next scheduled Meet-Ups are:

  • Tuesday 14th April 2026 06:15 BST
  • Friday 17th April 2026 06:15 BST

3) Let Jason Know You’re In
Zwift requires Meet-Ups to work via individual invitations—club events are more restrictive in functionality, so Meet-Ups are the only way to organise rides that allow flexibility. Here are your options:

  • Email Jason jason@tri-revolution.co.uk to confirm for a specific Meet-Up.
  • Tell Jason which Meet-Ups you’d like to be automatically invited to (e.g., “Always invite me to the Monday 6:15 ride”). If something comes up and you can’t make it, no problem. It’s better to receive an invite and miss it than the other way around.

4) Join and Set Up
When you enter the Meet-Up, you’ll wait in the holding pen with everyone else until the scheduled start time. Use this time to spin gently and warm up (don’t worry, you won’t go anywhere).
If you’re doing a structured workout: You must select it before the Meet-Up starts. To do this:

  • Enter the Meet-Up
  • Press Menu
  • Select your workout from the Custom Workout list

This lets you follow your coach’s session while staying banded with the group.

5) Ride Your Own Power
Once rolling, everyone stays banded together—it won’t matter if you’re doing intervals, an easy spin, or a steady endurance ride.

  • On a hard session? Drop a note in the chat and let the team cheer you on.
  • Taking it easy? Enjoy the atmosphere and know that your turn to go hard will come in a future Meet-Up.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Can I join if my ride is shorter or longer than the Meet-Up duration?
Yes, absolutely.

  • Longer ride, starting before the Meet-Up: Build your session in two parts. For example: if you have a 2-hour easy ride and need to start at 5:30 for a 6:15 Meet-Up, do a 40-minute warm-up solo, then join the 75-minute Meet-Up, and keep rolling after it ends.
  • Longer ride, finishing after the Meet-Up: Just keep pedalling. After a short cool-down, Zwift will return you to the “real world” and you can continue solo.
  • Shorter ride: Finish whenever you’re done—no need to stay for the full duration.

Are Meet-Ups open to non-members?
Yes. While these are designed for Tri Revolution athletes, training buddies are welcome. Ask them to message Jason (jason@tri-revolution.co.uk) and we’ll add them.

Can I just free-ride during the Meet-Up?
Yes. We’ll usually choose flat routes, but free-riders will be affected by terrain unless you set your trainer to 0% fixed resistance (ERG mode off). Using ERG mode with a structured workout is generally simpler.
What happens if I stop pedalling?
Zwift’s banding is effective for short pauses (grabbing a drink, adjusting clothing). If you stop for longer, the system will struggle to keep you with the group, so try to keep pedalling.

What if there’s a big power difference between riders?
This is the best part. The banding feature means someone spinning easy at 1.5W/kg can roll alongside someone smashing intervals at 5W/kg+. No more group rides compromising your session plan.
Are there rules for the chat?
Just one: be nice. Ask questions, cheer on teammates, and keep it supportive. That’s it.
When is the next Meet-Up?
We update the schedule weekly (every Monday). Check the club page or the chat for the latest dates.
