In a fortuitous turn of events in 2021, professional long-distance triathlete Kieran Lindars sought our expertise for his training. Expressing a need for a cycling-specific coach to oversee his bike training, Kieran identified a gap in the market where triathlon-specific coaches were falling short in providing the desired standard for cycling coaching. Recognising this unmet demand, we promptly embarked on a new venture, introducing cycling-only training for triathletes as a crucial aspect of their holistic training regimen. This unique approach allowed us to redefine coaching strategies, leading to significant success stories. Since Kieran joined our ranks, his ascent in the world triathlon rankings has been nothing short of remarkable, climbing from an initial 250th position to a comfortable place within the top 50. By 2022, he secured the prestigious title of European Long Course Triathlon champion. Consequently, we expanded our cycling-specific Tri coaching services to a wider audience, welcoming professional and age group athletes, including the notable addition of professional triathlete Natalie Lawrence to our clientele.
Building on our solid relationship with Kieran, he officially joined the Ride Revolution coaching team as a Triathlon Coach in 2022. Witnessing a surge in triathlon demand after Kieran’s stellar results in 2023, we strategically integrated him into our coaching roster to offer a comprehensive triathlon coaching package, covering all three disciplines. While coaches Charlie and Emily continued their valuable contributions to triathletes’ bike and run training, Kieran’s inclusion enabled us to provide a holistic package. Responding to escalating demand in the subsequent year, we recognised the necessity of establishing Tri Revolution as a separate entity, maintaining the high standards set by Ride Revolution. The goal is to emulate the success of Ride Revolution and position Tri Revolution as one of the country’s premier triathlon coaching brands.

We offer flexibility by providing assistance in one, two, or all three disciplines, with world-class support tailored to each discipline from coaches specialising in those areas – a unique feature often absent in conventional triathlon offerings.

How our Triathlon Coaching works
Initial Consultation
Following your initial enquiry with us, Head Coach, Jake Hales, will contact you and arrange a phone appointment. It’s important for us to get a good understanding of your current situation, your goals, style and also your general history. Jake will then recommend the best Tri Revolution coach and package to suit your needs.
Where are you at?
Your new coach will have a second, more in depth consultation and will analyse past data and training in depth as well as conducting tests to assess your current fitness level, strengths and weaknesses. This will then form a baseline to create a plan unique to your needs to maximise your potential development.
And so it begins..
Your coach will create a personalised training plan for you, using TrainingPeaks software to set and record your sessions. After each training session, you will upload your data. Your coach will review your training, provide feedback and set your next block of training. All training is bespoke to each athlete.
Ongoing Development
Your coach will provide regular feedback and analysis based on your training results via phone, WhatsApp & TrainingPeaks, helping you continue to progress your goals and improve performance. Training will be constantly adjusted to suit your needs and maximise your performance for your current goals.
