In 2020, our journey began as an integral part of the services offered by our sister brand, Ride Revolution. Today, with immense pride, we announce the launch of Tri Revolution, a specialised coaching brand dedicated exclusively to triathlons in 2024. Originating from humble beginnings, our collaboration with the local triathlete community focused on enhancing running and cycling and quickly evolved into Triathlon Coaching of a dedicated clientele drawn in by positive recommendations. Today, we stand as a leading Triathlon coaching company, serving a diverse array of athletes in both age group and professional triathlon categories. In 2021, our fortunes took a turn when professional long-distance triathlete Kieran Lindars sought our expertise for his training. Identifying a gap in the market for cycling-specific coaching in triathlons, Kieran approached us, believing that existing triathlon coaches fell short in delivering the desired standard for cycling coaching. Seizing this opportunity, we swiftly introduced cycling-only training for triathletes, revolutionising our coaching approach. Since Kieran joined us, his rise in world triathlon rankings has been phenomenal, progressing from 250th to comfortably securing a place within the top 50. In 2022, he earned the esteemed title of European Long Course Triathlon champion plus in 2024 he followed this up with a 2nd in the European Ironman round in Frankfurt and 8th in the World Champs held in Hawaii. Subsequently, we extended our cycling-specific Tri coaching to a broader audience, including professional and age group athletes, and proudly welcomed professional triathlete Natalie Lawrence to our esteemed client list.

Building on our partnership with Kieran, he joined the Ride Revolution coaching team in 2022 as a Triathlon Coach. Witnessing a surge in triathlon demand driven by Kieran’s outstanding results in 2023, we strategically incorporated him into our coaching roster to provide a comprehensive triathlon coaching package under one roof. While coaches Charlie and Emily continued their valuable contributions to bike and run training, Kieran’s inclusion empowered us to offer a complete package covering all three disciplines. Responding to escalating demand in the following year, we established Tri Revolution as a separate entity, committed to maintaining the high standards set by Ride Revolution, with the goal of evolving into one of the country’s premier Tri coaching brands.

Our approach to delivering triathlon coaching is distinctive. We offer the flexibility of assistance in one, two, or all three disciplines, providing world-class support tailored to each discipline from coaches specialising in that specific area—an element we believe is lacking in many traditional triathlon offerings.

    How our Triathlon Coaching works

    Step 1

    Initial Consultation

    Following your initial enquiry with us, Head Coach, Jake Hales, will contact you and arrange a phone appointment. It’s important for us to get a good understanding of your current situation, your goals, style and also your general history. Jake will then recommend the best Tri Revolution coach and package to suit your needs.

    Step 2

    Where are you at?

    Your new coach will have a second, more in depth consultation and will analyse past data and training in depth as well as conducting tests to assess your current fitness level, strengths and weaknesses. This will then form a baseline to create a plan unique to your needs to maximise your potential development.

    Step 3

    And so it begins..

    Your coach will create a personalised training plan for you, using TrainingPeaks software to set and record your sessions. After each training session, you will upload your data. Your coach will review your training, provide feedback and set your next block of training. All training is bespoke to each athlete.

    Step 4

    Ongoing Development

    Your coach will provide regular feedback and analysis based on your training results via phone, WhatsApp & TrainingPeaks, helping you continue to progress your goals and improve performance. Training will be constantly adjusted to suit your needs and maximise your performance for your current goals.

    Indoor training is an important tool. The majority of our clients train indoors either by choice or due to time or weather conditions for at least some of their sessions. Coach set sessions can be easily adapted to suit indoor or outdoor training.
