We began our journey under the parent brand, Ride Revolution Coaching, in 2020, and are excited to announce the launch of Tri Revolution in 2024. This bespoke coaching brand is meticulously crafted for triathlons. Starting with a close-knit local triathlete community and initially focusing on their running and cycling needs, we quickly evolved into a dedicated core of Triathlon Coached clients, driven by positive endorsements. Today, we proudly lead the way in triathlon coaching, engaging athletes of all levels and ages, from age group participants to professionals. Our trajectory shifted in 2021 when professional long-distance triathlete Kieran Lindars sought our guidance. He identified a gap in the market for cycling-specific coaching within triathlon training. Seizing this opportunity, we introduced exclusive cycling training for triathletes, which became a key part of their holistic regimen. This innovative approach led to remarkable success. Since Kieran joined us, he has climbed from 250th to the top 50 in world triathlon rankings and won the prestigious title of European Long Course Triathlon Champion in 2022. We expanded our specialised cycling-focused tri coaching to a broader audience, welcoming professional triathlete Natalie Lawrence and other esteemed clients.

Building on our strong relationship with Kieran, he joined the Ride Revolution coaching team in 2022 as a Triathlon Coach. His exceptional results in 2023 drove a significant surge in triathlon demand. We integrated him into our coaching roster, offering a comprehensive triathlon coaching package. Coaches Charlie and Emily continued their invaluable contributions to athletes’ bike and run training, while Kieran’s addition enabled us to provide a complete package across all three disciplines. By 2024, the demand had reached new heights, leading to the establishment of Tri Revolution as a standalone entity. Our vision is for Tri Revolution to become one of the nation’s premier tri coaching brands, maintaining the high standards set by Ride Revolution.

We pride ourselves on our distinctive approach to triathlon coaching, offering flexible assistance in one, two, or all three disciplines, with world-class support tailored by coaches specialising in each specific area—something often missing in traditional triathlon offerings.

    How our Triathlon Coaching works

    Step 1

    Initial Consultation

    Following your initial enquiry with us, Head Coach, Jake Hales, will contact you and arrange a phone appointment. It’s important for us to get a good understanding of your current situation, your goals, style and also your general history. Jake will then recommend the best Tri Revolution coach and package to suit your needs.

    Step 2

    Where are you at?

    Your new coach will have a second, more in depth consultation and will analyse past data and training in depth as well as conducting tests to assess your current fitness level, strengths and weaknesses. This will then form a baseline to create a plan unique to your needs to maximise your potential development.

    Step 3

    And so it begins..

    Your coach will create a personalised training plan for you, using TrainingPeaks software to set and record your sessions. After each training session, you will upload your data. Your coach will review your training, provide feedback and set your next block of training. All training is bespoke to each athlete.

    Step 4

    Ongoing Development

    Your coach will provide regular feedback and analysis based on your training results via phone, WhatsApp & TrainingPeaks, helping you continue to progress your goals and improve performance. Training will be constantly adjusted to suit your needs and maximise your performance for your current goals.
