Launched in 2020 under the Ride Revolution banner, our specialised triathlon coaching brand, Tri Revolution, is thrilled to make its official debut in 2024. What began as a collaboration with a local triathlete community to enhance cycling and running performance has evolved into a market-leading triathlon coaching service, largely driven by word-of-mouth referrals. Today, Tri Revolution proudly serves a wide range of athletes across ages and skill levels, from age group competitors to seasoned professionals. A pivotal moment came in 2021 when professional long-distance triathlete Kieran Lindars approached us, specifically seeking expert cycling coaching to refine his bike training—an area where many triathlon coaches fell short. Recognising this gap, we introduced cycling-focused training as a key component of our triathlon programs, bringing a new level of precision and depth to our coaching. This innovative approach quickly delivered results: Kieran’s world ranking soared from 250th to a position in the top 50.In 2022, he clinched the European Long Course Triathlon Championship and 8th place at the 2024 World Ironman Champs in Hawaii. Inspired by these results, we expanded our cycling-focused coaching to a broader audience, including both professional and age group athletes. Soon after, professional triathlete Natalie Lawrence joined our roster, enhancing our coaching expertise.

Kieran’s partnership with us deepened when he officially joined the Ride Revolution coaching team as a Triathlon Coach in 2022. His outstanding achievements sparked a surge in demand for triathlon coaching, leading us in 2023 to launch a comprehensive triathlon coaching package covering all three disciplines. With coaches Charlie and Emily providing top-tier bike and run training, and Kieran’s addition allowing us to offer complete triathlon coaching, we realized the need for Tri Revolution to emerge as a standalone brand dedicated to the high standards set by Ride Revolution. Our goal is to establish Tri Revolution as one of the UK’s premier triathlon coaching brands.

Our coaching approach is truly flexible, allowing athletes to receive focused coaching in one, two, or all three disciplines, led by coaches who specialise in each area—a unique offering often missing in traditional triathlon programs.

    How our Triathlon Coaching works

    Step 1

    Initial Consultation

    Following your initial enquiry with us, Head Coach, Jake Hales, will contact you and arrange a phone appointment. It’s important for us to get a good understanding of your current situation, your goals, style and also your general history. Jake will then recommend the best Tri Revolution coach and package to suit your needs.

    Step 2

    Where are you at?

    Your new coach will have a second, more in depth consultation and will analyse past data and training in depth as well as conducting tests to assess your current fitness level, strengths and weaknesses. This will then form a baseline to create a plan unique to your needs to maximise your potential development.

    Step 3

    And so it begins..

    Your coach will create a personalised training plan for you, using TrainingPeaks software to set and record your sessions. After each training session, you will upload your data. Your coach will review your training, provide feedback and set your next block of training. All training is bespoke to each athlete.

    Step 4

    Ongoing Development

    Your coach will provide regular feedback and analysis based on your training results via phone, WhatsApp & TrainingPeaks, helping you continue to progress your goals and improve performance. Training will be constantly adjusted to suit your needs and maximise your performance for your current goals.

    Indoor training is an important tool. The majority of our clients train indoors either by choice or due to time or weather conditions for at least some of their sessions. Coach set sessions can be easily adapted to suit indoor or outdoor training.
