Launched in 2020 under our parent brand Ride Revolution, we are thrilled to announce our specialised triathlon coaching brand, Tri Revolution, in 2024. From humble beginnings working with a small local triathlete community to enhance their running and cycling, we quickly developed a dedicated core of triathlon coaching clients through word-of-mouth recommendations. Today, we proudly lead the field in triathlon coaching, serving athletes of all levels and ages in both age group and professional triathlon. In 2021, our journey took a fortunate turn when professional long-distance triathlete Kieran Lindars sought our help. He expressed a need for a cycling-specific coach to improve his bike training, noting that triathlon-specific coaches often lacked high standards in this area. Recognising a gap in the market, we introduced cycling-only training for triathletes as a key part of their overall regimen. This unique approach led to significant success. Since joining us, Kieran’s world triathlon ranking has soared from 250th to within the top 50, and in 2022, he won the prestigious European Long Course Triathlon Championship. In 2024 he achieved a 5th place at the European round in Frankfurt and 8th at the World champs in Hawaii. We expanded our cycling-specific triathlon coaching to a broader audience, including professional and age group athletes, and welcomed professional triathlete Natalie Lawrence to our clientele.
Building on our strong relationship with Kieran, he joined the Ride Revolution coaching team as a Triathlon Coach in 2022. Following his exceptional results, triathlon demand surged in 2023. We strategically added him to our coaching roster, offering a comprehensive triathlon coaching package. While coaches Charlie and Emily continued their invaluable contributions to bike and run training, Kieran’s inclusion enabled us to provide a holistic package covering all three disciplines. By 2024, demand had grown so much that we established Tri Revolution as a standalone entity, maintaining the high standards set by Ride Revolution. Our goal is to make Tri Revolution one of the nation’s leading triathlon coaching brands.
Our approach to triathlon coaching is distinctive. We offer flexible assistance in one, two, or all three disciplines, with world-class support tailored to each area by specialised coaches—something often missing in conventional triathlon coaching.

How our Triathlon Coaching works
Initial Consultation
Following your initial enquiry with us, Head Coach, Jake Hales, will contact you and arrange a phone appointment. It’s important for us to get a good understanding of your current situation, your goals, style and also your general history. Jake will then recommend the best Tri Revolution coach and package to suit your needs.
Where are you at?
Your new coach will have a second, more in depth consultation and will analyse past data and training in depth as well as conducting tests to assess your current fitness level, strengths and weaknesses. This will then form a baseline to create a plan unique to your needs to maximise your potential development.
And so it begins..
Your coach will create a personalised training plan for you, using TrainingPeaks software to set and record your sessions. After each training session, you will upload your data. Your coach will review your training, provide feedback and set your next block of training. All training is bespoke to each athlete.
Ongoing Development
Your coach will provide regular feedback and analysis based on your training results via phone, WhatsApp & TrainingPeaks, helping you continue to progress your goals and improve performance. Training will be constantly adjusted to suit your needs and maximise your performance for your current goals.
